Mystcraft 0.10.0

Finally, the release that everyone has been waiting for!

This release contains the new page system, makes pages collectable, changes writing mechanics, adds celestial mechanics, adds the modifiers system, and contains several bug fixes. Check out the change log for a more complete list.

It’s taken a long time to get this to a deliverable state, and I thank you for your patience. This development arc was very large and I eventually had to break it apart just to get this out.
From now on I will be defining my arcs better and making sure they are smaller, so you will get content updates more often. 🙂

To recap: there is only one download (found at the bottom of this post); This file is the universal install for client and server; it no longer goes in the jar.
Mystcraft goes in the mods folder.

EDIT: Info from changelog:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Flags and properties on existing books have been cleared (books will work fine, but lose link properties). The properties will have to be reapplied.
Also, existing Notebooks in desks may end up in funny slots, but this shouldn’t cause major issues. Just move ’em. 😉

EDIT: Direwolf20’s Mod Spotlight!

Download: [1.4.7] Mystcraft Universal 0.10.0.00
Check the Mystcraft Forums for updates and the change log.

Enjoy!

And Freeze!

I have frozen my code except for bug fixes and balance tweaks. All the features for the arc are in and there is nothing on my TODO list for this arc.

This means release will be up as soon as the testers greenlight it. 🙂

The release will be up in time for the upcoming FTB pack update. 🙂

Cheers!

Homeless No More

My poor villager is no longer homeless and, in fact, has a rather nice house.
There are still some issues with exact placement (lecterns facing the wrong way, desk needs to be verified correct in all orientations), but it’s good.

This means the only remaining tasks are pretty minor, and the testing team is just verifying balance.

Given how much work I’ve had this semester I don’t know how promptly I’ll be able to get things out, but the upcoming Mystcraft release is looking good. 🙂

Cheers!
